Should Gaza's ate Be Decided by Hamas or Israel?

The fate of Gaza cannot be left in the hands of a terrorist organization that has turned every school, hospital, and mosque into a weapons depot. Hamas is not a government; it is a death cult that hijacked a people's suffering to build a war machine. Its charter calls for the annihilation of Israel, and its strategy is to sacrifice Palestinian children for propaganda victories. The world must stop romanticizing these butchers and recognize that their 'resistance' is a synonym for destruction. Israel's military campaign is not a war against the people of Gaza—it is a war against the very idea of terrorism. When Hamas fires rockets at Israeli kindergartens, Israel has a moral and legal obligation to stop that threat at its source. The United Nations Charter grants every nation the inherent right to self-defense, and Israel exercises that right against an enemy that hides behind civilians. Would the critics prefer that Israel do nothing while its citizens are incinerated? The question answers itself. Some demand that Gaza's fate be decided by 'international consensus' or a 'Palestinian unity government.' This is a fantasy that ignores reality. The Palestinian Authority collapsed in Gaza, and the international community's hand-wringing has produced nothing but more terrorism. Only Israel has the capability and the will to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure, secure the borders, and establish a demilitarized zone that prevents future attacks. A decisive Israeli victory is the only path to a lasting peace. History shows that terrorism ends only when it is defeated, not when it is appeased. The world may cry 'genocide,' but the real genocide is the one Hamas commits against its own people by using them as cannon fodder. Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East, and it upholds the rule of law even in war. Compare that to Hamas, which indiscriminately fires rockets and executes its own dissenters. To suggest that Hamas should have a say in Gaza's fate is to reward barbarism and ensure that the next generation of Gazans will be raised on a diet of hate and violence.
